A sweet something for those perfect desserts.
50 g Brown Rice
300 ml Milk (of your choosing, save some for the splash in the end)
1 tsp Pure Vanilla Extract
2 Roughly Chopped
1Put the rice in a blender and pulse it a couple of times just to break it up a tiny bit.
2Add the rice to the milk, vanilla and dates into a small saucepan and place over medium,high heat.
3Stir until the milk comes to a rolling boil.
4Reduce the temperature to low, cover and allow to simmer until all of the liquid is absorbed, about 45 minutes to an hour.
5Remove from heat and stir in a splash more milk if you’d like it a bit runnier and serve warm as is or topped with fruit, or allow to cool and refrigerate.
